1.Why make a safe and secure reservation via Latinhotels.com?
Latinhotels.com offers the possibility to make a reservation realtime on-line in Hotels, Hostels, vacation homes and other places to stay very simple, fast and reliable via Internet.

Any person, institucion, company or travel agent can access our special fares of the associated hotels, without contracts or obligations to register.

In general and for most of the hotels and special offer no prepayments are required : you pay during your stay in the hotel!

Our rates are all-in. No hidden charges for making a reservation, hidden service costs, or taxes, except for the VAT tax if applicable. VAT is mencioned separately because in a number of circumstances the passenger will not have to pay IVA. This is clearly indicated in our webpages.

2.How to make a reservation?
  • Choose the country, city and the dates of checkin and checkout.
  • Choose the hotel of your preference from the list.
  • Fill out the forms with your personal data and your credit card details to guarantee the reservations.
  • Click and your data are being sent to the hotel, with copy to our system. That's all ! If the hotel is on-line, your reservation is complete and confirmed! If the hotel is on request we check availability and prices as soon as possible and answer you by email.


3.Realtime On-line reservations or Requests?
In the case most hotels, you receive an email with an instant confirmed reservation number within a couple of minutes, together with all data of the hotel (a 100% automatic process), a realtime-online reservation process. There are some hotels, somae packages and some special dates, where availabiolity and prices are subject to confirmation by the hotel first.

In this case we process your request and contact the hotel before confirming the reservation to you. This can take between a few minutes until 24 hours and depends on the speed with with the hotel answers us. We send you an email with the final price and availability and then you have 24 hours to accept the request, period in which the hotel will maintain the availability for you. (If you need more time to decide, pleas let us know and shall ask the hotel to maintain the room longer for you.

Please bear in mind that in all cases the final responsability and prices published in our web pages are controlled by the hotel itself, just like the final acceptance of your reservation, payments and ofcourse attending you well during your stay.


4.Why do we ask for credit card details?
Your credit card details are asked for to guarantee the reservation, not to pay the reservation. No charges to your credit card will be made unless agreed with the passenger beforehand, eg. in the case of required prepayments, except in the case of a no-show.

In case a passenger has made a confirmed booking and does not cancel the reservation with sufficient anticipation and neither show up at the hotel, the hotel has the right to charge at least 1 night no-show costs to your credit card. Exact conditions are indicated in the webpages of each hotel.

Please note that our company uses encrypted webpages to ensure a safe transmission of the credit card data to our system. And once we communicated the data -in a safe way- to the hotel we do not keep your credit card data stored electronically.


5.Is it safe to make a reservation via Internet?
Yes, Internet is a perfect way to make a reservation and? do business in general. But as any business, you must be convinced that the internet site through which you book is a serious and well established company, with indeed the experience to provide hotels reservations. Our team has operated for over half a decade in the continent and have long time establed contacts with thousands of hotels : our highly estimated business partners. Further, we do not use intermediates and manage your reservation personally. In case you have any doubts we invite you to send us an email, a fax or call us simply to help you with any questions you may have. 6.How to know whether it is a good hotel with a good service?
We maintain constant contact with the hotels and receive feedback from the clients about the service and quality&price relation. Above that we know most general managers and hotelsowners by now, and are confident that they offer a good service to our customers. Hotels that do not comply with our standards are being eliminated at once from the system. Ofcourse one should keep in mind that when making a reservation, one cannot expect the same facilities in a 5 star hotel, compared to a 3 star hotel or hostel for the same price. Also location may affect much on price or hotel facilities. Indeed we expect that all hotels and hostels of any level, do receive you cordially and maintain clean services and rooms.


7.How to cancel a reservation?
Send an email or fax to Latinhotels.com, or to the hotel (with copy to Latinhotels.com). We prefer not to handle cancelations by telephone as confusions may occur. Please remember that there are time limits established for cancelling a reservation without costs. There are also a number of reservations ans special offers that requires prepayments, partly not reembursable. This is all clearly indicated in any reservation.


8.What happens when a passenger does not show up at the hotel?
This implies that the hotel is left with a room for at least one night without selling it. In this case the hotel has the right to charge at least 1 night to the credit card registered.

Details about no-shows and too late cancelations are specified by each hotel in the webpages. Therefore we expect our clients to contact us in time if they have to changes their travel plans. Ofcourse considerations can be made in case of mayor problems, like airports closed, natural distasters etc.


9.Why some special offers, some hotels or certain dates require prepayments?
As mentioned before, our system is based on making reservations without prepayments, the guests pay at the hotel. But certain dates haves such high demands, that prepayments are required like with New Years Eve and Carnaval in Rio de Janeiro. Also for longer stays in summerhouses or all-inn packages in the Caribbean do require prepayments. Anyway, in each room, special offer or packages, this is indicated clearly in our webpages.
